It is hard to believe but after thirteen years of being parents the Nelsons have broken their first bone. David was playing capture the flag in gym today when he dove for a flag, missing, and hitting the wall. He broke his radius in two places and broke the ulna. I guess if you are going to break something you might as well go for it all. He has been a real trooper today and has had a great attitude. Mom asked him if he wanted to stay home from school tomorrow, “NO WAY!” He has to go and show that baby off.

The 4th grade Buzzards football team took home the Crosscheck Athletics tournament trophy last week. The Buzzards put up an undefeated year allowing only one touchdown the entire season. The boys had a blast, but I am not sure that the dads did not have more. Thanks for your support. It sure was fun!
Kirby sent this to me today as a plea to please vote for Sixwire. I took the time to hit their myspace page and was duly impressed. Their combination of guitars and great vocals was refreshing in a day when many bands don’t know what harmony is. I enjoyed their sense of humor and was reminded of some great bands that I have come to know and love. Great sound guys. Take a look and get out and vote tonight. Thanks.
