Way to go Sara Bareilles…

A couple of years ago I was listening to an Indie mix that I bought off of AwareStore where I have found a few good Indies. On a side note it was where I first heard John Mayer. I came across a young ladies voice that was irresistible. Beautiful and sensuous the combination of her voice, strong lyrics, and melodies entrapped me. It did not take long for me to buy, listen to, and wear out her debut CD (no longer available). I have long been a fan of Sara and was thrilled a couple of months ago to hear her on Sirius Radio - The Spectrum. There I am driving along when all of a sudden I hear that familiar voice. I did not know the new song, but wow it is great. Then tonight, I cruising through the iTunes store when I notice her song is number two on the downloads list. Way to go Sara, we wish you all the luck and keep up the good work.

Some acoustic Christmas Cheer!

One of my favorite music artists in the last few years is Jason Mraz. I continue to be amazed by his musical creativity and incredible ability to make his voice and one guitar fill up so much of the musical spectrum. If you have never heard it his solo live album, Selections for Friends is truly amazing. I listen to track one, Live at Schubas, on a regular basis. That said, this You Tube Video is a great example of why I love Mraz. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
