Tonight Fox News in Memphis will do a feature story on Ken Bennett, the director of Streets Ministries in Memphis, Tn. The interview will feature testimonials from Andre Allen and John Calipari, head coach of the Memphis Tigers and number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Take some time out tonight or TIVO the newscast at 9pm, it will be exciting to see this servant of God celebrated in the media.

Ken began streets over 20 years ago with a van and a basketball in the Claiborne Foote Housing project in the inner city of Memphis. Since that time Streets has come to occupy a multi-thousand square foot facility on Vance Ave. were hundreds of kids come everyday to be tutored, play basketball, and hear the Gospel presented. The impact that Streets and Ken have had on the city of Memphis is impossible to measure and can only be told by talking to one kid at a time; the same way Ken did it.
