The Memphis Tigers ran away with the game that will take them to the Final Four for the first time since 1985. The city of Memphis could not be more proud of its Tigers and the hard work and effort that they have put into making it to this elite spot in college sports. The Memphis faithful showed up last night in droves at Wilson Air to welcome home their team. The airport authority even treated the team to a special salute by spraying down the plane with water as it taxied to the terminal. Coach Cal has seemed a little defensive in interviews about the win, but rightfully so since the perception around this country was less than favorable about the athletes from Memphis. Guys, keep up the great work and we will work hard to cheer you through to victory this weekend!
